Control de riesgos en el sistema de información del Departamento Financiero del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Provincial del Cañar con la aplicación del Software Pilar Basic

Abstract

This research is entitled "Risk Control in the Information System of the Autonomous Decentralized Provincial Finance Department of Canar by applying the Pilar Basic Software" Having done this research I found that the information is dispersed and generally predisposed that respond only to casual or everyday needs. As a result of it, I have aimed my research not only to analyze and determinate the levels of risks in the information systems that are applied in the financial department but to take safety measures in order to improve the system.

To develop this investigation the use of research methods such as, the analytical method, the inductive method among others have been usefully in order to collect information, evidence, and material in a scientific and technical way; that is, the methodology that will be used during this project is Magerit "Methodology of Risk Analysis and Management Information Systems', which consists of three stages: project planning, risk analysis and risk management. To develop the project, we will also use the Basic Pillar software tool developed based on version 4.4 of Magerit.

The outcomes obtained all the way through this research have brought results which totally confirm that there are difficulties and a potential risk that borders the 60%. Therefore, it is totally necessary to implement contingency measures that will help reduce this indicator to 25%. In fact, it is imperative to work on both physical and technical security measures in order to protect the information.
