Este fenómeno, junto con las considerables distancias que existen entre las instituciones actuales (escuela - colegio), evidenció la necesidad de plantear una nueva infraestructura. El objetivo fue diseñar un nuevo establecimiento que unifique los niveles educativos en un solo establecimiento, optimizando el acceso y mejorando las condiciones de estudio. Desde esta perspectiva, el análisis del crecimiento poblacional y la demanda educativa se identificaron como los principales factores para proponer una solución arquitectónica que mejore la funcionalidad y el acceso a usuarios de las instituciones, como estudiantes y docentes. Para ello, se empleó una metodología con enfoque cualitativo, apoyada de algunos elementos cuantitativos, estructurada en cuatro etapas principales. En primer lugar, se abordó el análisis del crecimiento poblacional, centrado en la población de entre 5 a 17 años, por tratarse del grupo etario que constituye la mayoría de usuarios del sistema educativo. Posteriormente, se seleccionaron y analizaron casos de estudio en contextos similares. En una tercera etapa, se realizó un análisis de sitio, considerando diferentes aspectos. Finalmente, toda esta información permitió establecer directrices para el desarrollo del anteproyecto. La propuesta busca mejorar la funcionalidad y accesibilidad al equipamiento escolar, consolidando un espacio inclusivo y adaptado al contexto rural.The study proposes the design of a preliminary architectural project for an educational unit in the community of Pucará, in response to the growth of the school-age population. This phenomenon, together with the considerable distances that exist between the current institutions (school - college), evidenced the need for a new infrastructure. The objective was to design a new establishment that would unify the educational levels in a single facility, optimizing access and improving study conditions. From this perspective, the analysis of population growth and educational demand were identified as the main factors for proposing an architectural solution to improve functionality and access for users of the institutions, such as students and teachers. For this purpose, a qualitative approach methodology was used, supported by some quantitative elements, structured in four main stages. First, population growth was analyzed, focusing on the population between 5 and 17 years of age, as this is the age group that constitutes most users of the educational system. Subsequently, case studies in similar contexts were selected and analyzed. In a third stage, a site analysis was carried out, considering different aspects. Finally, all this information made it possible to establish guidelines for the development of the pre-project.
