En el primer capítulo, se analizaron las características de la parroquia Chicán: datos generales, descripción sociodemográfica, antecedentes turísticos y planta turística. En el segundo capítulo identificamos a los actores relacionados con el desarrollo de los deportes de aventura mediante asambleas participativas con habitantes de la parroquia Chicán y entrevistas a autoridades, como el presidente de la parroquia Chicán, concejales y emprendedores, con la finalidad de analizar las perspectivas que tiene la población respecto a los deportes de aventura y su posible desarrollo en la parroquia. En el tercer capítulo se recolectó información acerca de las características fluviales del río Paute que atraviesa la parroquia Chicán, para establecer las fechas idóneas para el desarrollo de los deportes de aventura. Finalmente, con la información obtenida se proponen cuatro deportes de aventura: tubing, kayak, camping y senderismo, cada uno de ellos con su debida localización, funcionamiento, fundamentación legal, requerimientos y seguridad de equipos. SenderismoThis intervention project proposes four adventure sports focused on the section of the Paute river that crosses the Chicán parish, province from Azuay. In the first chapter, the characteristics of the Chicán parish were analyzed: general data, sociodemographic description, tourist background and plant tour. In the second chapter we identify the actors related to the development of adventure sports through participatory assemblies with inhabitants of the Chicán parish and interviews with authorities, such as the president of the Chicán parish, councilors and entrepreneurs, in order to analyze the perspectives that the population has regarding adventure sports and their possible development in the parish. In the third chapter, information was collected about the fluvial characteristics of the Paute river that crosses the parish Chicán, to establish the ideal dates for the development of the sports of adventure.
