Chicaiza Déleg, Sandra IsabelEspinoza Borja, Blanca LuzmilaFajardo León, María José2023-05-182023-05-182023-05-18http://dspace.ucuenca.edu.ec/handle/123456789/41911Esta investigación presenta un estudio sobre la relación del sector artesanal y el sector turístico de los cantones Gualaceo, Chordeleg y Sígsig, en donde se determina la situación general de la oferta y la demanda de los dos sectores en los tres cantones, la existencia de impactos por parte del sector turístico en el sector artesanal y finalmente se propone un clúster turístico que logre la unión entre los dos sectores. Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo de alcance descriptivointerpretativo centrado en la recolección y análisis de información, para lo que se desarrollaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a los artesanos y representantes municipales, además de una observación no participante. También se hizo uso de revisión de fuentes bibliográficas, datos geográficos y estadísticos de los cantones de estudio. Entre los resultados finales, se encontró que la relación de los dos sectores se presenta ligeramente en fechas importantes de los cantones tales como las cantonizaciones, que los artesanos perciben el impacto del turismo en las ferias artesanales y que las artesanías se han mantenido por causas comerciales. Por lo que es necesario que se creen proyectos donde se involucren los dos sectores y se creen beneficios mutuos. A qualitative approach of descriptive-interpretative scope was used. focused on the collection and analysis of information, for which semi-structured interviews with artisans and municipal representatives, as well as a non-participant observation. A review of bibliographic sources was also used, data geographical and statistical data of the study cantons. Among the final results, it was found that the relationship of the two sectors appears slightly on important dates of the cantons such as cantonizations, that artisans perceive the impact of tourism in craft fairs and that crafts have been maintained for commercial reasons. Hence It is necessary to create projects where both sectors are involved and benefits are created mutual.
