El número representado por 23 niños/as de la Escuela Ángel Benigno Barreto Tapia por ser un universo pequeño no se realizó el cálculo de la muestra, se tomó todo los niños/as como muestra; el segundo universo de la investigación fue de 188 niños/as de la Escuela Remigio Romero León realizándose el cálculo de la muestra, que fue de 57 alumnos/as. El estudio se realizó con 80 niños/as. Técnicas de Investigación utilizadas: La entrevista para recolectar información socioeconómica, de salud, educación y nutrición; la valoración antropométrica mediante la toma de peso y talla a los niños/as. El análisis de la información se realizó utilizando las fórmulas de Nelson para los niños/as, las curvas de NCHS (NATIONAL CENTER FOR HEALT STATISTICS), la tabla de Cronk que valora la edad y el peso porcentual. Los Resultados de la Investigación fueron: Peso normal 82.61%; Bajo Peso 13.04%; Sobrepeso de 4.35%; Talla Baja 13.04%; Normal 82.61%; Talla Alta 4.35%, de los niños/as de la Escuela Ángel Benigno Barreto Tapia . Con respecto a la Escuela Remigio Romero León los resultados fueron: Peso Normal 77.20%; Bajo Peso 15.8%; Sobrepeso de 3.5%, Obesidad 3.5%; Talla Baja 19.30%; Normal 78.95%; Talla Alta 1.75%, de los niños/as. Conclusiones: Los problemas nutricionales de los niños/as encontrados en la investigación están relacionados con las condiciones socioeconómicas, de los padres y madres de familia de los niños/as de los dos planteles educativos.auObjective: To determine the Nutritional State of niños/as of the Schools “Benign Angel Barreto Mud wall” of the Parish Turi and “Remigio Leon Rosemary” of Victory of Portete” of the Corner.
