Estos principios son rutinariamente modificados para adaptarse a diversas situaciones clínicas. Una adecuada preparación de la pieza dentaria destinada a un tratamiento prostodóntico deberá permitir la reproducción exitosa de los contornos anatómicos y perfiles de emergencia.
