Para situar un punto estratégico, el eje focal de este proyecto es la familia Gauguin Chazal, cuyo árbol genealógico ostenta dos integrantes: Flora Tristán y Paul Gauguin, quienes no llegaron a conocerse y fueron pioneros en sus intereses; Tristán en la lucha social y Gauguin en el ámbito artístico. Ambos familiares, ubicados en distintas épocas históricas, permiten establecer una relación interesante pese a la disparidad de ambos en sus acciones y respectivas contribuciones. Con el propósito de plasmar el viaje de estos dos revolucionarios mediante la ilustración, el área del diseño gráfico y editorial convergen, valiéndose asimismo de documentación histórica, para presentar hechos verídicos registrados de los dos individuos. Por su nivel de complejidad en distintos ámbitos, el contenido está pensado para estudiantes universitarios, cuyo interés esté dirigido hacia temas culturales y artísticos. Para el desarrollo del libro ilustrado, el Método Proyectual de Bruno Munari traza sistemáticamente doce etapas para un adecuado proceso resolutivo. Se escogieron diez de las doce fases, con el fin adaptar el proceso a nuestro producto, recursos y tiempo. Este procedimiento es bastante puntual; inicia desde la identificación de la problemática, prototipos, los materiales y tecnologías que son usados hasta llegar a la solución. Con el amplio espectro de elementos que abarca, Munari lidera este proyecto en dónde es un reto satisfactorio reconocer y plasmar importantes figuras dentro de la historia humana.The following work is supported by two impactful trajectories, whose protagonists provided humanitarian contributions in their corresponding context. To emphasize a strategic point, the focal axis of this project centers around the Gauguin Chazal family. This family tree includes two members: Flora Tristán and Paul Gauguin. Although they never met, they were pioneers in their respective interests: Tristán in social struggle and Gauguin in the artistic field. Despite the disparity in their actions and contributions, the different historical periods in which they lived allow for an interesting relationship to be established. The purpose of this project is to capture the journey of these two revolutionaries through illustration. By combining graphic and editorial design with historical documentation, true recorded events from their lives are presented. The content, designed for university students interested in cultural and artistic topics, is quite complex. For the development of the illustrated book, Bruno Munari’s Project Method systematically outlines twelve stages. We have chosen ten of these phases to adapt the process to our product, resources, and timeline. Starting from problem identification and prototyping, we consider the materials and technologies used until we reach a solution.
