Para ello, inicialmente se procede a investigar los antecedentes del post bop. Además, se analizan y describen los elementos musicales que caracterizan a este estilo. Estos elementos son: forma, armonía, melodía y ritmo. Luego de este análisis y descripción, se procede a componer dos obras para luego analizarlas.The present work of investigation is based on the creation of three themes of post bop for jazz quartet: tenor saxophone, electric guitar, electric bass and drums. For this purpose, first we proceed to investigate the background of jazz. Also analyze and describe the elements that characterize this style of music. These elements are: form, harmony, melody and rhythm.
