This is the case of the Historic Center of San Salvador, in which there is an opportunity to rescue the unique cultural heritage of Wood and stamped steel sheet, through the promotion of housing cooperatives through mutual aid, to improve the quality of life of the few families still living in the center.Una manera de rehabilitar el patrimonio cultural de los centros históricos que se encuentran en grave estado de deterioro y predominantemente dedicados a la función comercial, es por medio del fomento a la función habitacional, que aporta una connotación social al usual trabajo de la restauración de inmuebles.
