Por ello, es necesario realizar un análisis preciso de recursos y de la percepción de la población. El presente estudio aborda el análisis de la vocación turística en el bosque protector El Collay enfocado en las cabeceras parroquiales El Pan, Sevilla de Oro y la parroquia Delegsol, basándose en elementos bioculturales, infraestructura y la participación local. Para este propósito, se aplicó una metodología de enfoque cualitativo que permitió evaluar variables de capacidad y aptitud territorial. Además, se incluyeron entrevistas semiestructuradas, visitas a campo y revisión documental. Entre los principales resultados se destaca que las áreas visitadas dentro del territorio analizado presentan una disposición positiva hacia la actividad turística, no obstante, existen aspectos que requieren de acciones de mejora.Touristic vocation refers to the ability of a territory to attract visitors and sustain tourism activities.
