Con la propuesta se busca crear un nexo entre la educación y el juego, mediante el diseño de herramientas didácticas que puedan ayudar en los procesos de aprendizaje. El material está dirigido para las edades de cinco años en adelante, tomando en cuenta las capacidades cognitivas y psicomotrices, conjuntamente con los criterios de desempeño regulados por el currículum de educación para esos rangos de edad. A través de este trabajo se busca, además, reconocer el trabajo de los artistas ecuatorianos como un eje importante para el desarrollo de nuestra culturaThe main objective of this final dissertation is to create an educational proposal based on the work of the Ecuadorian artist Araceli Gilbert. Varied criteria regarding education, both at national and international levels, as well as the curricular contents, along with the necessary guidelines for the creation of didactic material, have been taken into account for this purpose. The project aims at creating a link between education and play throughout the design of didactic tools which might prove valuable for varied learning processes beginning at early stages. These materials are specifically aimed at children age 5 and older, and are based upon pedagogical criteria which take into account both, cognitive and psychomotor skills, as well as the performance standards regulated by the National Education curriculum.
