Descripción: Paciente femenina de 13 años de edad que acude al consultorio odontológico por presentar asimetría facial y dolor al masticar. Se solicitan exámenes complementarios encontrando desplazamiento discal con y sin reducción de la articulación temporomandibular e inflamación. Conclusiones: Los TTM son patologías frecuentes en nuestra población, suelen pasar desapercibidos en las valoraciones clínicas por presentar signos y síntomas subclínicos en estadios iniciales.Objective: of this article is to present a clinical case of disc displacement and osteoarthritis in a prepubertal female patient, describing signs and symptoms. In addition, clinical and imaging analysis that allowed a definitive diagnosis to be reached. Description: A 13-year-old female patient attends the dental office due to facial asymmetry and pain on chewing. Complementary examinations were requested, finding disc displacement with and without reduction of the temporomandibular joint and inflammation.
