Boira Sarto, Santiago JoséPadilla Illescas, Delia Isabel2020-03-112020-03-112020-03-11http://dspace.ucuenca.edu.ec/handle/123456789/34148Resumen Con el presente estudio se pretendió analizar la función sexual y la construcción de masculinidad en hombres con dependencia de la cocaína pertenecientes a la Comunidad Terapéutica “Amor y Vida” en la ciudad de Cuenca durante el periodo enero - julio 2018, para lograr el objetivo se hizo uso del paradigma de investigación interpretativo, con enfoque cualitativo de alcance descriptivo transversal, la muestra fue no probabilística y por conveniencia constituida por ocho varones. Los resultados principales fueron: Un perfil heterogéneo en estado civil, nivel de instrucción, ocupación, y etapa de consumidor (dos a veinte y cinco años consumiendo); la iniciación en el consumo de la cocaína tuvo la influencia de factores sociales y culturales; los efectos de consumo fueron intensos y negativos en la salud física, psicológica, social y sexual de los participantes; se observó disfunción sexual eréctil, pérdida del deseo sexual, eyaculación retardada y aneyaculación; las percepciones sobre la masculinidad en los informantes reflejaron la construcción social y cultural con influencia del sistema patriarcal manifestado en fuerza, dominio, virilidad y violencia, aunque se observó conciencia y cierta resistencia ante el “machismo”.The purpose of this study was to analyze the sexual function and the construction of masculinity in men with cocaine dependency belonging to the “Amor Y Vida” Therapeutic Community in the city of Cuenca during the period January-July 2018, to achieve the objective we made use of the interpretive research paradigm, with a qualitative focus of transversal descriptive, the sample was not probabilistic and for convenience constituted by eight men. The main results were: A heterogeneous profile in marital status, level of education, occupation, and consumer stage (two to twenty-five years consuming); the influence of social and cultural factors in the public and private space that led to the initiation of cocaine use; Cocaine had a very intense and negative influence on sexual function, manifested in erectile sexual dysfunction, loss of sexual desire, delayed ejaculation and anejaculation, resulting in physical, psychological and social health consequences; The perceptions about masculinity in the informants reflected the social and cultural construction with influence of the patriarchal system manifested in strength, dominance, virility and violence, although a sense of conscience and some resistance to “machismo” were observed that evidenced changes in perceptions and practices.application/pdfspaSexualidadToxicomaníaCantón CuencamasterThesis
