For this reason, behavior is evaluated in order to carry out a professional approach through a behavior modification plan to intervene if necessary. That’s why; the evaluation of behavior will be out in the CDI Valle de Colores, Virgen de las Mercedes, Rayitos de Luz and Los Pitufos through the Eyberg Inventory, which categorizes behavior by: anxiety, aggressiveness, negativity and / or opposition, attention deficit, sleeping problems and eating problems. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE To measure the behavior of children from 2 to 3 years of age from the CDI Valle de Colores, Virgen de las Mercedes, Rayitos de Luz and Los Pitufos, using the Eyberg Inventory. METHODOLOGY The research is of a prospective descriptive type, quantitative modality. The study populations are the people responsible for the children from 2 to 3 years of age from the CDI. The technique to be used is the application of the Eyberg Inventory, with which the behavior will be determined. The data that will be obtained will be analyzed using programs such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS Programs in Spanish version 23. RESULTS The present study was carried out with a sample of 102 children from 2 to 3 years old, of whom 57.8% have a Normal behavior, 33.3% are at Risk and 8.8% have Alteration of The conduct.Item Evaluación de la conducta en niños de 2 a 5 años que acuden al Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso de la ciudad de Cuenca en el periodo enero – julio 2019(2019-11-06) Tacuri Garzón, Gabriela Fernanda; Tenecora Ocaña, Mario David; Villalta Chungata, Blanca CeciliaThe children's behavior is a primary factor in the normal development, so much in the social, emotional, cognitive and psychomotor space; He is the evaluation that's why it is important of the conduct in the hospitalized children, stops in this way may detect any unusual or at-risk conduct and that way could have intervened prematurely. OBJECTIVE: Categorizing the kind of conduct in boys and girls of 2 to 5 years in the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso of Cuenca's City in the period January – July 2019. METHODOLOGY: Descriptive cross-sectional study through the direct evaluation of the parents or caregivers of children between 24 and 71 months of age who attended the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, through the EYBERG Inventory, the results were analyzed by percentage, frequency; Using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. RESULTS: A sample of 73 boys and girls was handled, of which 53.4% belong to the female gender and 46.6% to the male gender. The investigation showed that 26% had an alteration in behavior; 19.2% obtained behavioral risk, while 54.8% were in the normal range.Item Patrones de conducta en niños y niñas de 2 a 5 años del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil KEA mediante el Inventario de Comportamiento Infantil de Eyberg Cuenca 2025 - 2026(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Ciencias Médicas, 2026-02-26) Peñafiel Campoverde, Danna Nicole; Rodas Valverde, Angela Micaela; Cabrera Vintimilla, Johanna MercedesBackground: Behavioral difficulties are common in early childhood; therefore, their early identification is key to preventing potential behavior disorders, which generate social concern due to their negative effects. The Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory is an instrument that allows the identification of problematic behaviors in children aged 2 to 13 years; therefore, caregiver observation is essential for appropriate interpretation. Objective: To evaluate behavior patterns in children aged 2 to 5 years at the Centro de Desarrollo Infantil KEA using the Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory, in the city of Cuenca during the 2025–2026 period. Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study conducted with 40 primary caregivers of children aged 2 to 5 years at CDI KEA, to whom the ECBI was applied. Data were collected through a data collection form and processed using SPSS version 21. Results: Based on the information collected from caregivers, it was found that 52.2% of the children were male;42.5% were in Initial I with ages ranging from 3 years to 3 years, 11 months, and 29 days;72.5% came from nuclear families; 85% of caregivers were married; 62.5% were between 31 and 40 years old; and 62.5% had a fourth-level educational attainment. Conclusions: Risk behaviors were identified in 40% of the children, which justifies the need for specialized behavioral evaluation during the early childhood stage at the CDI.
