Item Aplicación del tamizaje de neurodesarrollo en el Proyecto Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos, mediante el instrumento de neurodesarrollo pediátrico (NPED) en las comunidades de Zhindilig, Agüilán y Santa Marianita de la Ciudad de Azogues en los meses de mayo-octubre del 2014(2015-11-11) Ligua Ramírez, Véronica Emperatriz; Guamán Paredes, Liliana Elizabeth; Sempértegui León, Silvia Rocío; Cañar Lojano, Hugo AníbalIt is a general descriptive test guide to apply in neurological screening "Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos" project using the neurological pedriatician develoent (NPED) inthe comm unities of Zhindilig, Aguilan and Santa Marianita located in Azogues, Cañar, Ecuador in the months from May to October of 2014. The sample was 76 children whom the NPED screening test was applied to language, psycomotor and sensorial areas data were tabulated in the SPSS 21 software, Spanish version. The range age was 22.03 months with a standard detour of +- 12.78. The 51.3% were masculine, and the 48.7 % were feminine. The 38.2% of these children's parents had finished high school, and only 1.3% had a bachelors degree. The 82.8% of children got the "approved" in the language area. The 18.1% got the "approved" in the sensorial area.Item Capacitación sobre la inclusión de las discapacidades a padres de familia del Centro Infantil de cuidado diario Travesuras. The term Inclusion emerged in the 90's decade, being a time where recognizes the rights of persons with disabilities. Inclusion means that all children need to be included in the educational and social life. A school to give a suitable answer to the needs of their students must perform new and innovative pedagogical proposals to stimulate the involvement of all. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Capacitate about inclusion of disabilities to parents of the Infantile Center “Travesuras” of the city of Cuenca. METHODOLOGY: A study of quasi-experimental type was done from April to June 2015. The study was realized with 57 parents of the Infantile Center "Travesuras" in the city of Cuenca through the application a pre-caps to evaluate the knowledge they had about disability inclusion. The parents were trained on the subject and finally a post-cap was applied to evaluate the achieved knowledge. The level of Knowledges on disability increased from 73.7% to 93%. Knowledge about inclusive education increased from 68.4% to 80.7%. USE OF RESULTS: With the results workshops were offered to parents on the topic of disability inclusion. After a comparative analysis of pre-caps., and post-caps., it was found that the means of the knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers vary significantly, before the formation 51.4% and after the educational intervention 82.9%, an increase of 31.5%.Item Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas sobre el desarrollo psicomotor dirigido a madres de niños y niñas menores de un año de edad que asisten a la Fundación Pablo Jaramillo Crespo(2015-11-11) Matute Seminario, Ana Marina; Sarmiento Segovia, María José; Torres Durán, Andrea Elizabeth; Ortega Chica, Paula Soledad; Cañar Lojano, Hugo AníbalThe objective of the study was to determine the knowledge, attitudes and practices on psychomotor development aimed at mothers of children under one year of age who attend the Early Stimulation Area of the Pablo Jaramillo Crespo Foundation. It is a quasi-experimental research, through the design of a single control group consisting of 66 mothers with pre-caps and post-caps. An initial survey (pre-caps) was applied to assess the knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers on psychomotor development of children under a year old. With the final result of the first survey a workshop and training instructional guide on psychomotor development linking early stimulation , it concluded the same one performed post-caps designed. To measure the results. For a description of the qualitative variables frequency and percentage was calculated for quantitative analysis and the mean, standard deviation, variance and T Student was used. After the educational intervention there is a significant difference in the mean of knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers before surgery (51.8 %) and after the intervention (84.2 %). Therefore we conclude that educational intervention modify knowledge, attitudes and practices of mothers, because the value of the test (p = 0.00 which is < p = 0.05). Cuenca 2009-2010 METHOLS AND MATERIALES: In the analysis for children boys and girls between the edge of 2 and 5 years old, they exclude kid of 2 years and under. The 22.9% of the parents or legal guardians have a college instructions complete, The 58.1% there are legally married. The 81.7% parents or legal guardians they raise their voice. The 33.7% hit their children with a belt or another object. Between the teachers we find out they have the edge same where among 23 to 26 years old. The 92.6% of the teachers are woman and only the 7.4% are men. From all the teachers analyze the 82% they have had a college instruction complete. The 52% of the teacher increase their voice in class. The day that we have distinguish the children are the most aggressive in CEDISOL is on Monday with a percentage of 51.9% , the teacher in from of this aggressive behavior most of them try to talk to the children with a percentage of 37%. In our society, parents and caretakers give priority to their rights over children´s justifying its existence. This behavior is adopted in order of globalization´s social chances like cultural gentrification and replacement on people´s folkways, among many others. The children´s rise ways are affected; then, wrong care ways are accepted over correct ones. The present study permits to know most of the negligence´s forms in Cojitambo, fourth district of Azogues city located in the Cañar province, its population, according to INEC´s 2001 census is 3801, 57% women, 43% men; 22% of this total, are children under 10 years old who. “Rising with our children” (Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos CNH) is a non profit organization trying to protect Cojitambo´s children by complementing their development. Objective: In this research, we used the Initial Luria Battery with the purpose of determine the status of higher mental functions in preschool children from the ages 4-5 years at the educative centers "A.B.C" and " Buena Esperanza ". Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study in children aged from 4-5 years was assessed in the regular attending students for the educative centers mentioned above. We gathered and analyzed data based on a descriptive statistics of frequency and percentage as well as a contingency table that allowed us to examine both these categories. Results: The population was composed of 323 children, composed of 177 men (54.8%) and 146 women (45.2%). Individualized child neuropsychological assessments of all preschoolers allowed us to obtain a neuropsychological profile which aided us in identifying cases of neuropsychological signs of immaturity. On this basis, the results show that neuropsychological signs of immaturity were evident in the areas evaluated as “manual motor” and picture vocabulary with 0.6% in gestures and praxis, 0.3% in phonemic hearing and picture naming and 26.3% in color naming.Item Estudio descriptivo para establecer la relación entre el afecto y el desarrollo psicomotríz desde la perspectiva de la estimulación temprana en niños de 4 años de edad del Centro Infantil Mundo de Juguete y el Orfanato Tadeo Torres. We conducted a study that evaluated the quality of care that eleven private Child Development Centers from the peripheral urban area of the canton Cuenca provided, from January to June 2009. We used a quantitative descriptive method, using a form that assessed the quality of care of each child development center, assessing the infrastructure, care process, capacity and skill of caregivers, and family participation. A scale of 100 points was used, assigning 25 points to each variable. Once the information was collected, the data was tabulated, analyzed, and presented in frequency tables, using the statistical program SPSS. The results indicated that only 27.27% of children's institutions score high in quality of care, and also show that only 27.27% have legal registration in the Cantonal Council of Childhood and Adolescence. The results also indicated that only 9.09% of those institutions integrate children with disabilities in their programs. The data obtained will be used in the pursuit of "Improving the Quality of Care for Children with Development Disorders" that is carried out by the research division of the University of Cuenca, being the children the ultimate beneficiaries. For this investigation, we used the descriptive quantitative method, which was based on the form used by the MIES-INFA, this form is measured in to scale of 100 points, which is divided in four variable: infrastructure, process of attention, professional capacity and the family or of the caretakers participation, settling down 25 points for each variable. All at once gathered the information, the obtained dates were tabulated, analyzed and presented in charts of frequency, using the statistical program SPSS. As a result of the investigation. We can observed that only the 20,00% of the Infantile Institutions only obtained a grade of very good in the quality of early attention. Likewise 13,34%, has legal registration in Cantonal the Town council of the Childhood and Adolescence. Besides we can observed that only the 20.00% integrates boys and girls with “discapacidad”. After we have concluded the study in the centers. METHODS AND MATERIALS: We used quantitative descriptive method, for which we used a previously developed form, which valued the quality of care in the Child Development Centers INFA, the scale used was about 100 points, distributed four variables: process of care, professional capacity, infrastructure and family involvement, or caregivers with a value of 25 points per variable. After the collection of information centers, data were obtained were tabulated and analyzed using SPSS system. The universe is presented as follows 88.88% do not have legal registration, 11.11% if it is held, with 75% attributed the cause of not having legal registration of ignorance, neglect and possessing a record pending recorded with a 12.5% each. 44.44% integrate children with delayed psychomotor development without disabilities, 11.11% are home to children with disabilities in the Child Development Centers. Quality of Care is 44.44% is good and regular schools is 55.55%.
