This investigation focuses the area of study on Huachi Loreto´s railroad route gap in the city of Ambato that is analyzed from urban guidelines that are controversial with physical structure such as legibility, permeability and variety, as well as from the citizen perception through investigation methods such as surveys and interviews. From the beginning of railroad system construction and later city planning urban problems have come, very large squares, cul-de-sac streets, limited ways connection, absence of commercial activity, restricted mobility, among other, furthermore the controversial dynamics around, such as delinquency, microtrafficking, drug addicts, among other. Strategies proposed in this investigation allude to the treatment of a part of railroad route as the right of way, through local government by the issue of guidelines of urban partial plans and/or bylaws that allow to manage the problem, encouraging appropriation of these areas through mobility and public-private space integration.
