    Prevalencia de trastornos de los sonidos del habla en niños de 3 a 5 años, en el Centro de Unidad de Diagnóstico, Investigación Psicopedagógica y Apoyo a la Inclusión, UDIPSAI, junio 2016 – junio 2022

    Background: Speech Sounds Disorders in childhood are one of the frequent reasons to go to a phonoaudiological consultation, these alterations have repercussions at a socialeducational level, which causes concern to parents and health professionals. The frequency of TSH within the research will allow us to determine the prevalence of the study carried out by means of phonoaudiological reports. Objective: To determine the prevalence of Speech Sounds Disorders in children aged 3 to 5 years who attended at the Center for Diagnostic Unit, Psycho-pedagogical Research and Support for Inclusion, UDIPSAI, Cuenca, during the period June 2016 - June 2022. Methodology: The descriptive, quantitative, retrospective method was used in this research; obtaining the database of anonymized reports of children attended in the period June 2016 - June 2022. Data analysis and tabulation was performed using IBM SPSS version 22, and Microsoft Excel 2019 was used for statistical tables. Results: Of the 246 phonoaudiological reports, the mean age of the children was 4.35 years; the frequency of phonetic TSH was 44.3%, the phonological component was 9.8% and the honetic-phonological component was 45.9%. Conclusions: Based on the objectives of the study, it was determined that phonetic TSH were in higher prevalence of motor learning etiology, for the phonological component there was higher prevalence of linguistic cognitive etiology, and for the phonetic-phonological component there was higher prevalence of motorcognitive linguistic learning etiology.
