Cuantificación de biogás generado a partir de Azúcares Reductores Totales (ART) del hidrólizado de la cascarilla de arroz, mediante el modelo de Gompertz
(2019-05-15) Trelles Trelles, Diego Javier; Sigüencia Avila, Jorge Marcelo
In this research project the quantification of biogas was made from Total Sugars (ART), from the hydrolysis of rice husks, using pig and cow inocula, using the Gompertz model. The generation of the biogas was carried out in discontinuous biodigesters keeping the volume of hydrolysis of the rice husk constant. The separation of methane from carbon dioxide was carried out using a 5% potassium hydroxide solution which precipitates carbon dioxide and the volume displaced will be equivalent to the volume of methane generated. It was possible to generate and quantify biogas from Total Sugars (ART) of rice husk hydrolyzate using the Gompertz model, through which a greater volume of biogas was obtained using the cow inoculum, giving us the best kinetic parameters to make more efficient this process. By performing a statistical analysis of the variables involved in the process, it was determined that the variable that influences the biogas generation process is the temperature and the relationship between this and the concentration of inoculum. In conclusion, the Total Reductive Sugars (ART) constitute a substrate for the methanogenic bacteria to develop and produce biogas, representing 3,105,183.17 MJ / m3 and 862.62 MW / h with the biogas obtained with the cow inoculum and 2 775,095.37 MJ / m3 and 770.92 MW / h with the pork inoculum, these values can be obtained if working with all the available residue of rice husks in Ecuador.
