Childhood stress can be triggered to various factors or situations that require adaptation or change and cause stress and anxiety can thus produce comprehensive imbalance in the child's life. We all know that our society is characterized by stress as a result of continuous activity that are subject adults, ignoring the situation that children will probably face more often, unstable family life, divorced parents live, migration, absence of one member of the family, economic crisis, abandonment. Objective: To determine the level of stress in children Daniel Hermida School. Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted. The universe was composed 215 school children Daniel Hermida, which worked with a sample of 135, whose legal representatives signed informed consent implementing the Perceived Stress Scale, was used as a technique. The data were processed and analyzed using Microsoft office Word, Excel and SPSS version 15, the results are presented in simple tables with their respective analysis. Results: Among the most important results are: high percentage of stress and mild moderate. The 20% of children with stress is for children 8 years. All children living with his uncles are stressed. Just 1.48% of children living with their grandparents do not have stress. Stress is presented more in men than in women.
