    Diagnóstico de la situación socioeconómica de mujeres afiliadas al Seguro Social Campesino, usuarias del Dispensario Médico Mayancela de la parroquia rural Sinincay, en el cantón Cuenca. Año 2023

    The purpose of this research focuses on understanding the socioeconomic situation of women affiliated with the Rural Social Security in the Mayancela medical dispensary, located in the parish of Sinincay, in the Cuenca canton, in the year 2023. This is done based on the postulates of the Human Scale Development Theory and the Ecological Theory. To achieve this, 150 questionnaires were applied to affiliated and retired women in this medical dispensary, which were the product of the application of simple random sampling. The approach used in this research was quantitative with a non-experimental - transversal nature and responds to a descriptive research design. Finally, the population under study corresponds to adult and older Ecuadorian women from rural areas, whose main activities are agriculture, livestock and crafts. These women also have the support of pensions, bonuses and remittances, which help provide adequate income to cover their fundamental needs. The analysis highlights that, according to the findings, the income of these women is lower than their expenses, underscoring the importance of additional sources of financial support to maintain a satisfactory economic balance.
