Item Anteproyecto arquitectónico de mercado minorista en la parroquia Turi(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-27) Abril Zamora, Sebastián Alejandro; Bacuilima Baculima, Henry Bryam; Tello Tello, Carlos OswaldoA market, besides being a supply center for essential products, is a space that provides the opportunity to enhance the local identity of the community where it is located, an identity that has been lost due to recent architectural and urban interventions. In the parish of Turi, there is no infrastructure that provides these characteristics, causing the population to have to travel long distances to reach a place to acquire or market their products. Informal commerce also gains strength, causing an appropriation effect of public space to carry out activities in unhealthy conditions. Therefore, this work proposes as a result the development of an architectural draft that addresses the needs of the local community, in which through regulations and design guidelines, the proper hygienic and sanitary conditions are met for the sale and consumption of everyday products. Likewise, the architectural proposal and Turi’s Park are articulated through an urban axis to the Turi viewpoint, to enhance the area and turn it into a true PlaceItem Espacios intermedios como condensador social. In order to analyze this problem, the multifamily buildings of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) located between Av. 12 de Abril and Av. Solano, Sucre sector, are taken as a case study, where a qualitative analysis will determine the current state of the intermediate spaces of the project. With the research carried out, it is observed that the poor planning of adequate intermediate spaces for the users, so it can be considered as a place with little social activity and community coexistence. Finally, an urbanarchitectural design proposal is proposed that can resolve the relationships between these spaces and generate social linkage.
