    Evaluación de la madurez intelectual general en niños de 4 a 5 años de la Unidad Educativa Del Milenio Manuela Garaicoa De Calderón, Cuenca 2019.

    BACKGROUND: The General Intellectual Maturity of children depends on: their biological basis, their environment and the factors in which they develop; which encompasses the different skills and knowledge they have acquired, because learning is balanced and harmonious, which is why we are currently looking for different ways to expand their level of knowledge and encourage them to experience new forms of learning that help to enhance their Basic intellectual development for formal education. GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the general intellectual maturity of children from 4 to 5 years of the school “Unidad Educativa del Milenio Manuela Garaicoa de Calderón”. METHODOLOGY: Quantitative prospective descriptive observational study, that considered as population all children aged 4 to 5 years attending the Millennium Education Unit Manuela Garaicoa de Calderón evening hours (N = 96) of the city of Cuenca . The collection of data was of primary source through the application of the BADyG-i Battery and the survey form. For the analysis and tabulation of results, the software IBM SPSS free Spanish version 22 was used, as well as Microsoft Excel 2013 and Microsoft Word 2013. RESULTS: The following results were obtained: 50% of the population corresponds to the male and female sex in the same proportion, of the total of the children evaluated, 39.6% have a level of average general intellectual maturity, of this percentage 21.9 % are female. While 21.9% are in the age range of 5 years 0 months to 5 years 11 months. Finally the average of general intellectual maturity is 57.8 with a standard deviation of 22.9.
