The urban-rural park, as a public space, is a little explored element in the rural context of the canton of Cuenca; however, it is essential for the cultural, social and community development of the inhabitants of these sectors. This title work proposes a proposal of readjustment at the preliminary project level for the Adobepamba community park, Octavio Cordero Palacios parish, with the objective of generating a public community space that contributes to the wellbeing of the users. Through a mixed analysis methodology and the active participation of the community, the essential needs and conditioning problems of the park were compiled. Additionally, information was gathered on urban architectural proposals in contexts similar to that of the Adobepamba community in order to obtain intervention strategies in public spaces that respond to the problems focused on mobility, accessibility, adaptability and functionality. The result is a proposal that integrates design criteria proposed according to the conditions of the site, thus seeking to improve the quality of life and spatial use of people.
