    Factores que influyen en la estructura de capital del sector bancario privado 2017-2021

    Analyzing the capital structure of private banks is of vital importance because it allows identifying the main factors that influence an adequate combination between equity and debt. The present research aims to determine the factors that influence the capital structure and the affection on the profitability of the Ecuadorian private banking sector during the period 2017 - 2021, as for the methodology, this study is conducted with a quantitative approach, with information of secondary origin through a linear regression model. The main results are based on the panel data model by fixed effects, where the variables: bank size, liquidity and delinquency influence the capital structure, by presenting significant coefficients, in addition its relationship with indebtedness is adjusted with the static balance theory.
