Galapagos Life: infografías animadas sobre 3 animales de las islas Galápagos que se encuentran en peligro de extinción
(2018) Salazar Samaniego, Carlos Martin; Martínez Sánchez, René Sebastián
The present work consists in the development of a graphic proposal whose objective is to display and transmit information about three species of the Galapagos Islands’ fauna through interactive infographics. An interactive infographic is a didactic and communication tool which, besides providing specific information on a particular topic, it allows for a certain level of interaction with its users. Through a combination of graphic elements and both, linguistic and non-linguistic signs, infographics constitute a communication resource that provides with a global approach towards a given object or topic. This is the purpose of Galapagos Life, a project focused on motivating people’s attention on the unique features of each of these endangered species, and in creating awareness on their importance both, within the life cycles of our planet, and in their uniqueness.
