    Cáncer de próstata en pacientes atentidos en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca.

    This paper presents a descriptive, retrospective study of prostate cancer was performed in patients treated by outpatient "Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital" 2003.Se year all patients chose to study the universe as seen in outpatient urology Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso who presented prostate pathology The objectives were to determine the number of patients who were diagnosed with prostate cancer, determine the method by which the diagnosis of prostatic neoplasia was performed, the patient's age at which the diagnosis was made ; know the type of treatment received and identify the evolution time in presenting symptoms. Data were collected using forms, which were tabulated using computer programs EPI-.INFO and EXEL. Upon completion of this work showed that the 31.33de patients presenting with prostate pathology, prostate adenocarcinoma 5.99presenta corresponds to an age of 71 years but these are 30.76, also shows that had a very high PSA (23.53) and the findings of DRE the prostate presents stony features (28 579; in transrectal ultrasound predominant finding is of images echoic hiccup with 55.2, the type of treatment received was orchiectomy (8462) and the time of disease progression was 20 46.16 35 months
