The pedagogical models used during Physical Education (PE) classes should respond to a given historical, geographical, and social context. However, the predominance of traditionalist models characterized by education of orders that do not allow the generation of healthier habits (better levels of physical activity (PA) and eating habits (EA)) is alarming. For this reason, the emerging pedagogical model Education for Health (EfH) arises for the promotion of healthy lifestyles through PE, generating that students maintain an active life and consolidate healthy HA. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of the pedagogical model Education for Health together with the Novelty on eating habits and Physical Activity in 8th EGB students of the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit during Physical Education classes. The research is of pre-experimental type, descriptive level, and quantitative approach, with a sample of 25 students of 8th EGB of the Herlinda Toral Educational Unit. The variables will be analyzed in three instances of the intervention: Pre-test, Post-test, and Re-test. Within the results, it was observed in the Novelty that the students obtained a level of Extrinsic Motivation, with a mean that increased slightly (x̄2.63 to x̄3.24); the EH maintained a predominance of Healthy EA, with a slight increase in the mean (x21.32 to x22. 08) and PA there was a slight increase after the intervention (x̄2.24 to x̄2.52). We can conclude that, once the intervention was completed and the results obtained, it was possible to show that there were changes in the variables (PA, EA, and Novelty); however, these were not significant.
