    Valores de lipoproteínas séricas de alta densidad en personas de 17 a 22 años de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador 2008 - 2009

    The present work consists on determining in sanguine serum the values of HDL-c in healthy people from 17 to 22 years old in Cuenca - Ecuador, in 2008-2009. It was carried out on 975 people. We applied a survey which allowed us to know the personal and family pathological health problems. The blood samples were carried out in a random way in all urban parishes of Cuenca city. - The blood samples were taken at people’s home and they were carried out to the Clinical Laboratory of the Center of Diagnosis of Medical Sciences Faculty of the University of Cuenca; each sample were identified and immediately the serum was separated from the clot and its prosecution carried out in 24 hours later. It was got using the reagents of the commercial house Wiener Lab.- We got the values through different variables: weight, age, size and sex and we introduce the data in SSPS program and we obtain the following results: a value average of HDL of 46,8 mg/dL, the medium of 46,8 mg/dL± 0,50, with a standard deviation of 8,0 mg/dL. The minimum value of HDL of 28 mg/dL, and a maximum value of HDL of 67, 8 mg/dL. The relationship among the obtained value of HDL in serum in the masculine sex was obtained a value average of 45,8 mg/dL, and the feminine sex the value average it is of 47,4 mg/dL. In relation to the age the value average of HDL in people of ages among 17 - 18 years it is of 46,1 mg/dL, among 19 - 20 years of 46,5 mg/dL and among 21 - 22 years it is of 47,4 mg/dL. In relation to the size the value average of HDL in people of sizes among 131-150 cm is of 47,8 mg/dL, among 151-170 cm of 47 mg/dL and among 171-190 cm it is of 45 mg/dL and in people of weights between 31-50 kg is of 47,1 mg/dL, between 51-70 is of 47 mg/dL, between 71-90 kg is of 44,6 mg/dL and from 91- 110kg it is of 46,7 mg/dL.
