    Anteproyecto arquitectónico de un nuevo parque urbano para el barrio Pitá del cantón Yantzaza

    This degree work focuses on the preliminary design of the architectural preliminary project of a new urban park for the Pitá neighborhood of the Yantzaza canton, through a request from the Municipal GAD of Yantzaza to develop in a green area space that belongs to the municipality. With the purpose of meeting the needs of citizens through new equipment to improve the urban growth of the neighborhood and canton, incorporating feasible urban and architectural strategies to develop the preliminary project. The thesis is structured in five chapters: the first chapter begins with an introduction that addresses the problem and then the state of the art is developed. Setting a hypothesis and objectives to develop an appropriate methodology to develop the other chapters. The second chapter is a diagnosis of the historical and theoretical background, and then an analysis of the urban context of the canton, neighborhood and block is made to understand the demographics, topography and basic services. The third chapter is dedicated to analyzing case studies to select two outstanding examples, subsequently examined in detail to obtain relevant ideas for the benefit of the project. In the fourth chapter, the preliminary design is carried out, incorporating the most effective strategies previously identified to satisfy the needs of the population and link with the surrounding environment. Finally, the fifth chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations derived from the preliminary design.
