Item Estilos de vida relacionados con la hipertensión arterial en pacientes de 40 a 60 años, Azogues 2019.(2019-07-16) Rodríguez Pillaga, Jheymy Lilibeth; Pulgarin Siavichay, Mirian Janeth; Clavijo Morocho, Nube JanethBackground: Arterial hypertension worldwide is a disease with high prevalence that increases every year and causes an appreciable number of disability and death in the population, being considered a silent disease, invisible and above all lethal. General objective: to determine lifestyles related to hypertension in patients aged 40 to 60 years, Azogues 2019. Methodology: descriptive, quantitative cross-sectional research was carried out on 150 people aged 40 to 60 years with a diagnosis of hypertension. An instrument by López-Carmona called "FANTASTIC" was used. We worked with the SPSS program, with Word 2016; the results are presented in tables of frequencies and percentages. Results: the study was carried out on 150 users between 40-60 years with HBP where the sociodemographic population was represented by 74% of women, marital status married (46.6%), with nutritional status of ideal weight 28%, 40% overweight, and 32% obesity; 50.7% almost never do physical activity, about 81% consume little sugar, more than 70% feel sad and overwhelmed; 58.3% of the population indicate that they can not handle stress or the presence of tension in their daily lives. The result according to the "Fantastic" instrument indicated that 72% have a lifestyle between adequate and good. Conclusion: It is concluded that the study population according to the "fantastic" instrument presents a lifestyle between adequate and good, the nutritional status that stands out is overweight, and a high level of sedentary lifestyle was observed.
