Item Determinación de ls niveles de ansiedad por medio de la Escala de Hamilton en mujeres gestantes en labor de parto del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso Cuenca, 2014(2014) Ortega Durán, Jessica Katherine; Pizarro Morocho, Priscila Elizabeth; Riera Prieto, Mónica Alexandra; Bermeo Vásquez, Zara Julieta; Pinos Ortiz, Celestina de JesúsObjective: To determine the levels of anxiety by the Hamilton scale in pregnant women in labor, "Vicente Corral Moscoso" Hospital. Material and Methods: This research is descriptive. We worked with a finite universe of 2800 pregnant women who attended in 2013; the sample was for convenience and involved pregnant women who came to the labor room of the "Vicente Corral Moscoso" hospital in the months of July, August and September 2014. The techniques used were observation and interview, and as an instrument a form developed and validated by the authors and the Hamilton test. Data was processed and analyzed using the statistical software, SPSS and Excel. Informed consent for pregnant women was applied to ensure the ethical aspects of research. The data is presented in tables with their respective descriptive analysis. Results: 45% of pregnant women had a level of 13- 17 anxiety which means less than increased anxiety; 69% of multiparous have primary instruction; and the highest percentage of pregnant women ages is 42.13% comprising the ages of 19-25 years of women of childbearing age; 37% was the highest percentage in the civil status of marriage; most pregnant women attending the hospital have low income with a percentage of 56.50% and 90% of those who come to the hospital are residents of Cuenca; the 69.10% of them work at housework; mode of delivery was more frequently eutocic with 58.14% of which 87% did not present complications and 99% do not use any tool at delivery; 61% of pregnant women have nuclear families.
