    Determinación de la madurez intelectual global en niños de 3 a 5 años de la Escuela Ignacio Escandón, mediante la batería BADYG, Cuenca-Ecuador, 2019

    Global Intellectual Maturity, is the capacity for the understanding and resolution of problems, learning and mental acuity, is conditioned by extrinsic factors of the subject and the experiences that the subject lives through its development and growth, through brain plasticity, which is important to strengthen children's development and prevent future deficits. The study is descriptive, cross-cutting and prospective. Evaluations were prepared for children between the ages of 3 and 5 who attend the Ignacio Escandón School. The General and Differential Skills Battery (BADYG-I) was used as a means of evaluation. The population was made up of 87 participants, as results we obtained that within the Global Intellectual Maturity 44.8% of the total population is in the range between 3 and 5 years. The predominant chronological age is 5 years with 35.6% at the mean level, in the male sex 26.4%, in rural residence 44.8%, secondary maternal instruction 26.4%, and secondary paternal instruction 19.5%. In the General Verbal Intellectual Maturity 29.9% and General Intellectual Maturity not Verbal
