This research aims to evaluate the effect of ethanol extract of propolis (EEP) on bacterial microflora, morphometry of intestinal villi and productive performance in broilers.Mixed 400 chickens a day-old Cobb 500 lineage were used, which were housed in 20 experimental units with 20 birds each, and subjected to 4 treatments with 5 replications were used. The experimental treatments were: T1) control, without the addition of antibiotic growth promoter (APC) and EEP; T2) including EEP 200 mg / kg of feed; T3) including EEP 300 mg / Kg of feed and T4) including EEP 400 mg / kg feed; EAF will be included directly in the food at the time of preparation, and all diets had the suppression of APC.The variables under study were beneficial intestinal bacterial population and pathogenic, morphometry of intestinal villi, weight, average weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, mortality (%) and productivity index. For the measurement of the variables: bacterial population and morphometry of intestinal villi, one bird per repeat at 21 and 42 days old chicken sacrificed; other variables were assessed weekly up to 49 days. The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences (p <0.05) for the bacterial population at 42 days of age. Treatments which involved the addition of EEP, significantly (p <0.05) counting Escherichia coli and total coliform, while stimulated the growth of lactic acid bacteria compared to the control treatment (T1). Likewise, statistically significant differences (P <0.05) villus height at 42 days were found to be 2.3 and 4 treatments that showed a higher value compared to the control treatment (T1). Keywords: ETHANOL EXTRACT OF PROPOLIS, BACTERIAL MICROFLORA, INTESTINAL VILLI, PRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE
