    One of the objectives of our thesis It was learn about the development of the television production in Cuenca and its comparative system, through research in Unsion television and Telerama we are able to get information the city gave several positive changes on that allowed us to know as the advent of television, since its beginnings it has been in development and evolution. The methodology for this work It was a research which enabled us to learn more historical developments and the progress of the production in Cuenca, based on the channels and Telerama and Unsion. This thesis contains six chapters that are based on the history of television in Latin America, Ecuador and Cuenca. Take the references of the concepts of Marshall Mcluhan It is their books “la aldea globlal” transformations in the life And the global media of the century XXI and “Comprender los medios de comunicación” The extensions of the human being to emphasize his theory on the basis of the knowledge of his thought to close to the communication and television. This work contains information on technological advances that occurred in the channels Unsion and Telerama we succeed by tabular surveys certain values In regard to workers, production equipment, local programs, advertising in the programming, we could analyze, compare and conclude the technological advances that have taken over the years Telerama and Unsion.
