    El periurbano como contenedor de equipamientos educativos para la ciudad y sus impactos en la configuración de usos de suelo. Caso de estudio parroquia Ricaurte del cantón Cuenca

    The periurban area of Cuenca city in Ricaurte parish has been a favorable scenario for the implementation of educational facilities, generating a significant impact on their surroundings. Within this framework, the objective of this thesis is to determine the incidence of the implementation of educational facilities in the configuration of land use in the periurban area ofRicaurte parish. The research is conducted through a proprietary methodology, grounded in a reflective analysis of the conceptual framework and the study of the relationship between educational services and land use. The methodological structure is divided into three levels of analysis, each progressively more exclusive and complex, culminating in a synthesis that integrates and condenses the findings obtained throughout these analyses, providing a comprehensive understanding through specific case studies. Finally, the impact of the implementation of educational facilities in the peri urban territory of the Ricaurte parish is identified, particularly reflected in economic and social aspects. Therefore, these facilities not only play a fundamental role in the academic offering but also emerge as generators of economic and social dynamics in this territory, thereby influencing land-use configuration.
