Item Evaluación del desarrollo psicomotor de niños/as de 3 meses a 5 años en el Centro de Salud Mariano Estrella. Cuenca 2019(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-08-20) Morocho Segarra, Johanna Maricela; Quizhpi Guerrero, María Fernanda; Lucio Bravo, Miriam AlexandraBackground: Psychomotor development is a process in which the child acquires skills in different areas of development, the first 5 years of life are crucial; therefore, the purpose of this research was to evaluate the development of children at the “Centro de Salud Mariano Estrella" applying the Child Learning and Development Test (TADI). Objective: To determine the level of development and learning in children from 3 months to 5 years who attend to the “Centro de Salud Mariano Estrella” Methodology: This is a descriptive, transverse research carried out on 90 children from 3 months to 5 years old at “Centro de Salud “Mariano Estrella”. The Child Learning and Development Test (TADI) was applied. The SPSS 22 and Microsoft Excel programs were used to collect the information, and for the statistical analysis, frequencies and percentages according to variables. Results: The highest percentage of children was: male with 57.8%, ranging from 12 months 1 day to 24 months with 32%. A total of 43.3% presented normal development, 60% were between the ages of 3 months 1 day to 12 months. In relation to the type of family and level of education, a higher percentage of normal development was found in the single-parent family and in children whose parents had higher education.
