    Diseño de un plan de fortalecimiento para el proyecto de turismo rural comunitario Kushi Waira de la parroquia Tarqui del cantón Cuenca

    Tourism includes activities that people perform when they travel and are out of their normal environment for a continuous period of time less than one year for the purpose of recreation, business and other purposes (Beltran, 2017). In this sense, community tourism is understood as an activity that is developed directly with the population, that is, the active participation of the local community in tourism activities (Monge and Yagüe, 2016). Thus, this research is of interest in the development of tourism of the Kushi Waira tourist center, which is developed in a rural area, just 30 minutes from the city of Cuenca that is considered a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design a strengthening plan for the Kushi Waira rural community tourism project of Tarqui parish in Cuenca canton, through strategies that contain two tourist packages, which have as their main attraction the knowledge of the daily routine of the communities, as well as the exploration of the flora and fauna that inhabit that place.
