    Riesgo psicosocial en las actividades laborales de los profesionales de enfermería al cuidado de personas con COVID-19 en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, periodo mayo – diciembre 2020

    Background: Psychosocial risks are important predictors of health-illness and influence the work of the healthcare team, at the time of COVID-19 pandemic, it was highly infectious that has claimed a significant number of lives, among them nursing professionals, who by providing care in the hospital environment can violate their psychosocial health. Objectives: To determine the psychosocial risk in the work activities of nursing professionals caring for people with COVID-19 at the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, period May - December 2020. Methodology: Study with a descriptive quantitative design. The sample of 177 nursing professionals of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital who were caring for people with COVID-19 in the period May-December 2020. The data collection instrument was the Psychosocial Risk assessment questionnaire. The Microsoft Excel 2021 program was used to tabulate the data. The results were presented in simple bars with their respective analysis. Results: Regarding the level of psychosocial risk in the work activities of the nursing professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Medium Risk was observed with 51% being the most predominant within the institution, followed by a Low Risk with 47% and a High Risk with 2%. Conclusion: The nursing professionals surveyed are at risk, regardless of the level, with Medium Risk standing out, which affects their physical and psychosocial health and, therefore, impairs their work performance.
