    Propuesta de implementación de glamping y actividades de turismo rural para El Copal Lodge en el cantón Paute, parroquia Dug Dug, provincia del Azuay

    The general objective of this intervention project is to develop a proposal for the implementation of glamping and rural tourism activities for "El Copal Lodge" located in Paute canton, province of Azuay. The proposal responds to the needs of diversification of the accommodation service and use of natural resources for the development of rural tourism activities. To achieve this, a diagnosis of the current situation presented by the establishment and its surroundings was carried out through bibliographic documentation and fieldwork. Additionally, to know the tourist demand, a non-probability sampling was used, applying surveys to visitors to the area and residents of the city of Cuenca. Secondly, the implementation of glamping is proposed through a technical study, with the support of an architecture student, in order to establish its design, materials and costs. Thirdly, rural tourism activities are proposed: agrotourism and adventure, which were determined based on existing natural resources and the results obtained from the surveys. Finally, an economic and financial study is presented to know the viability of the project.
