    Propuesta Educativa para la Enseñanza de las Matemáticas desde el enfoque de la Etnomatemática en el Primero de Bachillerato General Unificado (BGU)

    The purpose of this work is to present an educational proposal aimed at teachers, which aims to teach mathematics topics based on the Ethnomathematics approach. To prepare the proposal, a survey was carried out with 29 teachers from different schools in the city of Cuenca and a school in Paute, which helped us prepare the proposal. The main objective of the proposal is to teach mathematics through something that students know about their different cultures such as embroidery on clothing, music, typical dishes, fireworks, etc. This type of teaching linked to what they already know, apart from being fun, helps to strengthen multiculturalism since several cultures are found in a classroom.
