Como una buena práctica se ha descrito el trabajo que ha desarrollado el Laboratorio Virtual de Ciudad y Territorio(LaVCiTe).Item Dotación de parques de servicios industriales para Cuenca(2014) Lucero Quezada, Adriana Elizabeth; Ulloa Montenegro, Adriana Elizabeth; Osorio Quinto, Anggy Victoria; Salazar Guamán, Ximena AlejandrinaThe expansion of Cuenca in the last three decades has provoked the incorporating of industrial services directed to corrective and preventive maintenance of heavy and medium vehicles, which have been locating in a scattered manner within the urban limits of the city. They have become incompatible with the spatial structure of the city, within a framework defined by the lack of planning, lack of land supply and weakness in municipal control. This problem has not been previously studied nor has it been currently addressed, here nor in any city in the world, thereby in the present thesis the orderly and planned location of services under study has abeen displayed; noting the need for grouping them in an industrial services park, with a correct location in the city of Cuenca and with adequate, functional design. Under these considerations, the present work intends to meet and discuss the issues surrounding industrial services in the city, formulate alternatives to correct the current situation, identify and apply location variables and finally implement an urban design on one of the sites selected by a partial urban plan. It consists of an internal regulation and management model that will crystallize the project and effectively control such activities within the industrial services park. This study comprises of Chapters VIII: CHAPTER I. Theoretical Background. CHAPTER II. Diagnosis of study area. CHAPTER III. Synthesis of diagnosis. CHAPTER IV. Target image. CHAPTER V. Demand for land for the siting of industrial services. CHAPTER VI. Location of land reserves for the construction of Industrial Services Parks. CHAPTER VII. Urban Design. CHAPTER VIII. Management model.
