Diseño de la ampliación de la subestación Ocaña I, para la integración de la línea de transmisión de la Central Hidroeléctrica Ocaña I – Ocaña II (La Unión) – La Troncal 69 kv, e incorporación AL SCADA
(2016) Henry Wilfrido, Calle Tapia; Espinoza González, Juan Ennis; Corral Serrano, Miguel Guillermo
This research has, as its main objective, to design the expansion of Ocaña I substation to integrate the transmission line of the hydroelectric plant Ocaña I - Ocaña II (La Unión) –La Troncal 69 kV, and incorporate into the SCADA system along with the coordination of protections of the transmission line. The study takes place in Ocaña substation and has the support of ELECAUSTRO and CENTROSUR companies. This is an exploratory, descriptive and projective study based on quantitative data, formulas, and technical specifications typical of the Electrical Engineering career. To collect the data, fieldwork and a survey along with AUTOCAD and DigSILENT Power Factory programs were used. To thedesign application of the substation, recommendations given by the IEC 71 – 1 “Insulation Coordination: Definition, Principles and Rules” and IEC 80– 2000 “IEEE Guide for Safety in AC Substation Grounding” standards were applied. The basic engineering corresponding to insulation coordination, screening, and mesh ground, like the selection of arrester and protective equipment are described. In general, power flow and short circuit studies can determine the effects in thearea of influence of the planton the sub transmission network. Moreover, they determine the short circuit currents required for the calibration and verification of settings of certain protective functions. Regarding to the SCADA system, the main aspects to be considered for the integration of the new structures to the automation system and current control of the plant Ocaña are made known. Finally, the control and communication architecture are presented in such a way as to see the connections of the equipment, and communication protocols that are used.
