Realidad y ficción del “ser benignistas” en dos momentos históricos de su construcción: 1864-1964 y 1964-2012
(2013) Guachichullca Cajas, Ruth Eulalia; Villavicencio Quinde, Manuel Gonzalo
The present research work is designed to study the imaginary colective of being “ser benignista” in two historical moments during thestudents´growth, for which it is important to know values that ruled the cuencano aristocratic thought, included in a process of permanent hybridizing among the various racionalities (premodern, modern, late modern) that also existed in the environment within the Benigno Malo high school, considered as a social and cultural space, inhabilited secuentially by different generations. Accordingto an ideological and political perspective, it will conduct us to see how some identities/subjectivities were made up/reconstructed in order to hegemony the ecuadorian nation in some specific historical moments. As a consequence of it, we will mainly work with the concepts of imaginary hybridizing as philosophycal categories aimed to focus values of aristocratic thought within the corresponding process of transformation of the students; which are embodied in the characters of Benigno Malo and Juan Bautista Vázquez.
