    This thesis is a research about the evolution from traditional to digital journalism in the World of 2.0 and the new challenge that journalists will have to confront in this quick growth of media in the Internet. This work is based in the emergence of the Twitter platform. This is a space where both, journalists and media share information every second. Twitter have become a useful daily tool for a journalist's everyday work, where, besides finding fresh news, they can also find sources and opinion spaces about journalism. The purpose is to establish a work guide for journalists that become part of this new communication technology. This work also establishes guidelines to maintain a journalist's online reputation with the purpose of, as long as it is possible, to diminish mistakes that are usually found in the web when news are retransmitted
