To recollect the information we went to “Julio María Matovelle” school, where, we took anthropometric measurements and we obtained the qualifications of scholar performance. In our country there isn’t information about effects of bad nutrition in the scholar performance; for this reason that study will contribute information about the influence of bad nutrition in the scholar performance, in a society where coexist over weight and miss nutrition Results: The way of bad nutrition with major prevalence is the miss nutrition that represents 45.02% of the universe studied, It represents with most frequency children of short age and its percentage goes decreasing when the age of the child is major. When we associate the inadequate scholar performance with bad nutrition we found a RP value of 1.40 and a X2 value of 1.96 with a confidence interval of 95% (0,86–2,26) and a p value of 0.160. So that we conclude there isn’t a statistically relation between bad nutrition and inadequate scholar performance. Password: Miss nutrition, overweight, scholar performance.
