In the present work, Hegel's critique of Kant's Categorical Imperative is analyzed to reflect on the role and relevance of the Hegelian category of Freedom at the heart of his critique. As is known, Hegel criticizes Kant's transcendental idealism, as well as his dualisms and formalisms, so that he concludes that both his proposal, as well as the categorical imperative, lack content, that is, they are empty, fall into solipsism and do not come out of abstraction, so they have no use in the lives of people in a specific society. However, in the end, some reflections are made on the role of the category of Freedom in the Hegelian critique of the Categorical Imperative, as well as a brief discussion on its justification.
