    Documental multimedia: la ruta del Capac Ñan

    This Multimedia Documentary Project called: The Capac Ñan route. It shows part of the pre- mid-fifteenth century Pre-Columbian history through audiovisuals and new technologies allowing the use of digital media in order to spread one of the most imposing buildings of the Ecuadorian and South American geography; the Capac Ñan route or Andean road system. Therefore, with the creation of this communicational project, the use of new technologies and journalistic tools are implemented, in order to develop series of communicational products in written reporting formats, photojournalism, audio and videos with a theoretical basis about the digital media and transmedia journalism, as well as the researches done about the Inca Trail. Finally, the project’s elaboration and publication process is presented in a web platform. Through this the use of new alternative media and the rescue of a part of the Inca history are provided.
