Item Diseño y dirección de arte de un proyecto transmedia para la enseñanza de instrumentos andinos de viento a niños de 8 a 10 años(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-09-30) Vázquez Moreno, Diana Lorena; Corral Escudero, Ana CamilaWe are currently facing a globalization process that has caused traditional objects, such as Andean wind instruments, to lose relevance. According to UNESCO, the limited participation in indigenous festivities and celebrations has caused that young people from various communities loose interested in teaching or learning various traditional knowledge; this has reduced the possibilities of these people for expressing themselves or becoming artisans. To ensure that this knowledge continues to be transmitted in the context in which it is practiced, UNESCO has made several efforts to safeguard it. However, about the Andean wind instruments of Ecuador, the void left by the inaction of state institutions regarding their preservation is still evident. This transmedia project was born on this context and uses the theoretical foundations of storytelling by Donna Lichaw, the cognitive theory of multimedia learning (CTML) by Richard Mayer, among other proposals from art direction, design and multimedia and music pedagogy to create learning material that not only serves to teach Andean wind instruments to children between eight and ten years old, but also to guarantee that it corresponds to their pedagogical needs, in order to foster a genuine interest that allows, in the long term, to safeguard this knowledge.Item El racismo en los dichos populares de Cuenca(2016) Corral Escudero, Ana Camila; Larriva Regalado, David Santiago; Washima Zhunio, Victoria EugeniaThe following paper studies phrases, proverbs and sayings frequently used in Cuenca as agents and vehicles of racial symbolic violence. The approach from the perspective of the Critical Analysis of Discourse will demonstrate the presence of racism as a representation of the power and domination relationships carried since the colonial period, which nowadays configures the pattern of domination called: “Colonialidad del poder” by AníbalQuijano.
