    The present project of titration tries to show the problematic of the exercise of the Rights of the Consumer in Ecuador. It begins with an analysis of the evolution of Consumer Rights in Ecuador, the specific principles of consumer protection. Afterwards, the Office of the Ombudsman is being studied as an institution, so that the Administrative Procedure before the Ombudsman can be taken as a point of study as one of the ways of redressing Consumer Rights; Four practical cases will be analyzed on the basis of Administrative Procedures for violation of the Organic Law of Consumer Protection; Also analyzes how the current procedure does not provide effective protection of Consumer Rights, preventing the exercise of consumer rights in our country, among the shortcomings we find this regret not having an appropriate law containing parameters And international principles of Consumer Defense, it remains in the end in dead letter. Finally, a series of necessary changes are made to the current Consumer Organic Law and to the Consumer Complaint or User Complaint Regulations, which, in the author's opinion, will improve the current administrative procedure
