Item Autoconcepto en estudiantes con discapacidad física en proceso de inclusión(2015) Parra Abad, Carolina Alejandra; Cáseres Quizhpe, Juan Marcelo; Clavijo Castillo, Ruth GermaniaThe contemporary world has assumed inclusion of people with disability as a rights affair and not as a privilege for some people; a condition that has been given from paternalism. However, to implement this principle of inclusiveness with rights approach goes beyond a technical choice. Getting people with disabilities achieve maximum development, regarded in their potential and not typecast in their deficit is, above all, a cultural change and attitudinal. Based on what has been stated, this present study began with an analysis of self-concept in students with physical disabilities who are in the process of inclusive education; our objective was to analyze the self-concept of students with physical disabilities in the process of inclusion. The sample consisted of 32 students with physical disabilities, between 10 and 19 years. The study used a descriptive and selective methodology, managing the scale of self-concept AF5. The scale results show that 10 students, 6 men and 4 women, have a "normal" self-concept, while 15 male students have a low self-concept in the "emotional" area and 7 women have a low self-concept in the "family" area.Item Niveles de autoeficacia en estudiantes de la carrera de Psicología Clínica de la Universidad de Cuenca durante la crisis por coronavirus, en el periodo 2020-2021(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-04-29) Ochoa Orellana, Joseline Estefanía; Reinoso Rojas, Andrea Karina; Clavijo Castillo, Ruth GermaniaSeveral authors describe the self-efficacy as a stable sense of effectiveness and competence to efficiently cope with stressful situations, including the perception of one's ability to deal with daily living events. A clear example of a stressful situation is the Covid19 pandemic, which is directly or indirectly highlighting people's physical and psychic abilities, situations like: the isolation, virtual activities and economic instability, among other, can be the cause of a psychological imbalance. This research aimed to describe the levels of self-efficacy of students in the career of Clinical Psychology at the University of Cuenca, during the health crisis of coronavirus. In addition, identifying the levels of selfefficacy of students according to five sociodemographic variables. The quantitative approach to non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive scope design was applied to carry out this study. The population was 175 students, 76 men and 99 women, aged between 20 and 44. The data was collected using a sociodemographic data sheet and the Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale for the Ecuadorian context, applied instruments during the context of the pandemic by Covid-19. Research results showed that students' level of self-efficacy averages 28.85; another notable result was the significant relationship between selfefficacy and sex, academic level and family economic income. It is concluded that students have high levels of self-efficacy, that is, they have the capabilities to face a stressful situation, in this case the current pandemic Covid-19
